What a wonderful event on Saturday April 4th at Pilsen Arts & Community House! Our Taking Flight event was a packed house for our screenings, readings, and music! Thank you @lacroixlines and @mevaleoso_craft for sharing your thoughtful readings and @matias.delaflor and @takisoul for the inspiring music! Our amazing screening featured two touching short films by @mishipiku, @lydiajart’s interview, and Anna Silivonchik’s short about her experiences. Thank you @sunflowersummit, for being an excellent MC and curator of this event!

The Butterfly Effect Project (BEP) celebrates the unity of immigration and migration stories. In a time where communities are pulled towards division, BEP aims to unearth the roots that connect us all. Creating an interdisciplinary experience that will weave together a series of unique personal histories and stories to create a tapestry showcasing the shared way humans move and adapt all over the world, recognizing and respecting that our work exists on indigenous land.
The Butterfly Effect Project is volunteer-run and associated with AnySquared.
